Location: Outward Bound HQ, Hackthorpe, Cumbria
Salary: £9,379.50 to £18,525 (per year, depending on experience)
Contract: 37.5 hours per week.

This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to get your qualifications whilst playing an active part in a busy finance team. You will be part of a team of four who oversee and maintain all aspects of the finance function for our charity, The Outward Bound Trust.
Key responsibilities
As accounts assistant, you’ll provide all round support to our finance team. You'll:
- Input entries every day to our purchase ledger
- Manage and maintain a cash book
- Support the team with administrative tasks
- Complete various accounts tasks from invoicing to company credit cards.
Apprenticeship qualifications
We'll help you learn on the job and you'll also be supported to gain these qualifications:
- Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant standard
- Functional Skills (if required)
- Training through Kendal College and the workplace
At the end of your apprenticeship there will be a full time role for you at Outward Bound. And if you'd like to do Level 3 instead of Level 2 we will support you with that.
